Dr. Ropper’s primary research goal is to investigate stem cell-based therapies for spinal cord tumors. He believes that advances in genetics, molecular biology, and stem cell biology will lead to more effective treatments for these tumors.
Dr. Ropper hopes to pursue a career as a neurosurgeon specialized in spine surgery and continue work as an investigator in the fields of spinal cord injury and spinal tumor therapeutics.
