Diane Coletti leads the Boston office of DHR as Managing Director and Executive Vice President specializing in searches within the Life Sciences, Healthcare and Technology markets. With more than 25 years of recognized excellence, Diane's fervor at understanding a client's unique business and market drivers has made her successful in recruiting executives at the VP, Board and C-level to lead innovative businesses.
Diane's extensive search work encompasses recruiting leadership talent in a variety of functional areas, including marketing, product management, investor relations, commercialization, sales, strategic alliances, channel management, business development, corporate development, human resources, professional services, and finance. Diane has conducted more than 900 searches and interviewed thousands of executives throughout her two decades in executive search. Her focus on accountability and a tenacity to deliver have resulted in an unprecedented referral rate: 100% of Diane's last 25 searches have been through referrals or repeat clients. Diane has advised hundreds of companies regarding company or functional leadership and role definitions, and has recruited talent from across the United States and Canada. Clients include: PerkinElmer, Charles River Laboratories, Covidien, Zimmer, Serica, Allergan, Health Dialog, AdvanSource Biomaterials, Avid Technology, Bose, AMSC, Xtalic, iDirect, Netscout, to name a few.
Diane founded Prestonwood Associates in 1984, which grew to be a recognized search leader in Life Sciences, Technology, and Innovation before being acquired by DHR. Diane's experience in running a company and innate ability to understand market development and business strategy have been recognized by the non-profit boards on which she serves. In addition to her work with the Brain Science Foundation, Diane is currently a Board Member with Cape Cod Healthcare. Past leadership initiatives have included: tapped by the CEO of The Boston Children's Museum to be on a special task force addressing HR strategic issues; Board Trustee leading the development of Marketing Plan; invited to be an advisory board member for the Center for Innovation Venturesof PARTNERS Healthcare; and past board member for WEST (Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology), including acting as mentor to the Founder of organization. Her interest in education has also led to many leadership positions supporting the Medfield public education system, including on the Superintendent's Advisory Council.
Diane holds a Bachelor's degree from Boston College and is an influential and involved member of the Executive Council of BC's Technology Council, Chair of Initiatives Committee for the Council for Women of Boston College (CWBC), and most recently, asked to Chair the Strategic Task Force addressing scalability of CWBC. Both councils have reaped the benefits of her entrepreneurial strategic leadership and technology and life sciences industries know-how.
