Register Now for MAD 2008
The Brain Science Foundation and the Brigham and Women’s Department of Neurosurgery are teaming up again to bring you the only patient conference to focus exclusively on meningioma. Building on the momentum of Meningioma Awareness Day (MAD) 2007, we are bringing MAD 2008 to an international stage of neurosurgeons, neuroscientists and industry vendors who will be gathering for the 6th International Congress on Meningiomas and Cerebral Venous System.
Taking place on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the John B. Hynes Memorial Convention Center in Boston, Massachusetts, MAD 2008 will convene meningioma patients from across the country to hear the world’s leading meningioma experts address topics such as the latest surgical techniques, emerging and experimental therapies, and new treatment strategies for meningioma. Other special guests will enrich the all-day event with inspiring stories and informative talks on a variety of topics. A special reception at the Marriott Copley will conclude the day and bring together MAD attendees and the entire roster of conference speakers.
MAD 2008 truly represents the critical relationship between patients and the doctors and researchers who are driving advances in brain tumor treatment and research. Moreover, the conference will be the first in the history of the American Association of Neurological Surgeon’s (AANS) (joint sponsor) to feature patients. The significance of this collaboration speaks to the ambitious partnership between the Brain Science Foundation and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the fortitude each of these organizations brings to the BSF’s mission to escalate brain tumor research.
