Against the stunning backdrop of these and other master works BSF founder Steven Haley reflected on the balance of art and science involved in neurosurgery and specifically the discernment and sensitivity required in the successful outcomes of both. Themes of passion and courage resonated throughout the evening as the core of the BSF's commitment to advance research that promises the return of health and longevity for brain tumor patients.
This event was the first of many that will convene the art and neuroscientific communities in an effort to raise funds for brain tumor research and elevate awareness by celebrating the boundless potential of the mind.
